Chisolm Trail London Broil
• 2# Texas Heritage round roast
• Garlic pepper
Allow meat to come to room temperature. Season with salt and garlic pepper.
Start with grill hot enough to mark each side…turn down IMMEDIATELY to medium flame as you would for a Texas Heritage porterhouse steak.
Grill for 8 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
Remove from heat and let rest for 20 minutes loosely covered with foil.
Slice cross grain, 1/2” thick. The rest is history… goes with any side or on top of a bed of crisp healthy greens for a dynamic steak salad presentation.
